Sam’s new custom Feather frame built by Ricky is an absolute stunner. I’m looking forward to seeing this in the flesh (and maybe stealing a go!) in a few weeks when I migrate back up North. Awesome work. Keep an eye on everything Ricky gets up to over at the Feather Blog, and while you’re at it see what Sam and the rest of the LSF crew are up to too. /R
Nate from Re-Strap told me about this last time I was up North but I didn’t realise it was this epic! Via LSF. /R
Met up with the boys from LSF this weekend when I was up North. Also got to meet Ricky of Feather Cycles. He’d just finished building up his first trick frame for fellow LSF rider Jammy, and it looks SWEET. Look at that wishbone! And the fillet brazing looks amazing. Really like the matching gold decals too. Check out the Feather Cycles blog to see what else Ricky has been working on. There are some really nice looking stems coming out of his York-based workshop. Have a look at the rest of the shots here. /R
Had such an ace weekend with the boys from LSF for the premiere of the Cragg Vale film! I ended up turning up a bit late on the day which meant I missed the polo and general messing about and had a bit of catching up to do on the drinking front. After a few pints we went on a ride before hitting up Hukkaz for the film. Max did an awesome job of it! The film documents a few riders from LSF bombing the longest descent in England which is really close to my parents house incidentally. After the film and awards ceremony a house party followed where we had some ghetto roller set-up (basically Sam’s bike lifted up at the back by a steel rod) and Nathan, the guy behind the amazing Re-Strap footstrap system showed us all up by lifting a ridiculous amount of weight. It was also sort of Max’s leaving do as he’s moving back down to London so everyone was wishing him well. I’m sure he’ll be enjoying his brand new messenger bag that the guys had got him. I’m looking forward to going up again and seeing everyone, and also introducing Max to the rest of the guys in London. For the full set of pictures check out our FlickR or click here. /R
